Drawing Joy | Visual Journaling No. 6

REPLAY | Session No. 6

Hello Friends,

If you are watching and creating with us on replay, a warm and joyful welcome.

Today’s reference images of Joy relate to both The Cancer Chronicles, Week 10 and The Diary of Delight, No.10.

Thankyou so much to the beautiful Julie and Becc Faber for joining me in this additional practice session. I wasn’t sure I would be able to paint today as I have had such intense nerve pain in my hands and body, but thanks to you two, I happily achieved more than I thought capable.

Some of the images used in today’s session:

Gallery of Joy:

How beautiful are these joyous artworks created during (and before) the Zoom session by my dear friends Becc Faber and Julie?

Drawing Joy is about finding joy in the art making process, and celebrating the things that make you happy.

Some highlights of today’s session were:

  • Being with my friends

  • Painting through the pain.

  • Managing to do much more than I expected I could.
